Activate it and talk to the woman next to the pokecenter in Mauville City. She´ll tell you the IV of your pokemon in this order:
SPDEF, SPATT, SPEED, DEF, ATT, HP
I´ll build a tutorial on how to do it in the "romhacker way" too. (Means how to use it in a hack)
